Cancel an active order

This article describes how to cancel an active private offer order. To cancel an active order, you and your customer must both agree to the cancellation, and you must initiate the cancellation process for your customer by using Cloud Marketplace.

Request cancellation of an active order

To cancel a customer's active order for your Cloud Marketplace product, request assistance from the Partner Support Desk. In your message, you must include the following details:

  • The word Marketplace
  • The Order ID for the order that you want to cancel.
  • A statement on whether a refund is required.

After Google processes your request, Cloud Marketplace sends your customer a notification to inform them that they can now cancel the order in Cloud Marketplace. The cancellation takes effect after your customer completes the process by clicking to cancel the order in Cloud Marketplace.
